Don’t Delay – Visit Us Today For Your Year-End Needs

Whether you’re planning to meet with your accountant, or you’ve already reviewed your finances for 2016, Don’t wait to invest in new work trucks or fleet vehicles, talk with us NOW! Both time and inventory are running out, and we’re here to meet all of your year-end needs.

The winter weather has finally reached West Michigan, which means that many businesses are looking for plow trucks. Although Borgman has one of the best selections of Ford Work Trucks in West Michigan, our stock of pre-equipped plow trucks may not last through the end of the month.

Also, while on the subject of year-end planning, there’s something the Borgman Commercial Team would like to share. Under new guidelines for Section 179 of the IRS tax code, many small businesses that invest in new work trucks may completely write them off – up to $500,000 for 2016.

You should note that the vehicle must be purchased and placed into service by December 31, 2016. It must be used at least 50% for business purposes (mile-for-mile) in its first year on the road. If you choose to use it for both personal and business use, the cost eligible for deduction would be the percentage used for business.

All businesses that purchase and/or finance less than $2,000,000 in business equipment during tax year 2016 should qualify for the Section 179 Deduction. To get full and complete information about Section 179, talk to your accountant and visit Section179.org or IRS.gov.
